About the Owner

Keith Cotter is a licensed arborist (#1018) with the state of Maryland and a member of the Tree Care Industry Association. (T.C.I.A.) With more than 40 years of experience and knowledge in the tree care industry . As a licensed arborist he attends up to date informative tree care & safety classes keeping up with invasive insects like the Spotted Lanternfly, Emerald Ash Bore or Tent Capterpillars.
CHESAPEAKE TREE & OUTSIDE SERVICES, LLC is a family-owned business located right here in Baltimore County, Maryland. We consider ourselves to be tree preservationists, keeping up with the education offered to us through T.C.I.A., Department of Natural Resouces, The National Forestry Foundation, many more organizations. We do everything we can to diagnose/identify and treat diseased trees before we suggest removing them. If we’re concerned about the infestant or disease spreading to your other trees, we’ll take action right away. The proper steps such as injection of fungicide, spraying with a pesticide or deep root fertilization. However if we know for sure there is no saving your trees or shrubs, we will remove them.

Taking down and removing trees as well as trimming/pruning your trees and shrubs can be a messy business. CHESAPEAKE TREE & OUTSIDE SERVICES, LLC will take the time to ensure they’re leaving the customers propertiey clean and free of debris or ruts in their yards. Our men always remove/rake any debris left behind during the course of our work. We’ll put down plywood to protect your property from our equipment, dragged limbs/branches, and even our workmens boots.
